1. Parties

“Car Rental” S.R.L. (the “Lessor”) and the customer (the “Renter”).

2. Agreement Scope

The Lessor provides, and the Renter receives, temporary use and possession of the vehicle. The Renter pays the rental fee according to these terms.

3. Vehicle Handover & Return

Handover and return are documented by signed delivery/return reports that include date and time. Any visible damage at return is recorded and may be assessed by a specialized service.

The Renter must return the vehicle at the agreed time in the same condition, normal wear excepted.

4. Lessor Responsibilities & Rights

The Lessor must provide a roadworthy vehicle with proper documents and required equipment. The Lessor may request payment, damages for contractual breaches, and verify proper vehicle use.

5. Renter Responsibilities & Rights

The Renter must use the vehicle responsibly and comply with traffic laws. Prohibited uses include taxi service, racing, towing, unauthorized drivers, and exceeding a maximum speed of 130 km/h.

The vehicle may be used only within the Republic of Moldova, excluding the Transnistrian region. Crossing borders requires written approval. Fuel must match vehicle requirements. Repairs without approval are prohibited.

6. Liability

The Renter is responsible for late payments, damages, accidents, losses, or missing items. Late returns may incur additional charges. Excessive dirt may result in cleaning fees.

Vehicles may be equipped with GPS to monitor speed and location. GPS data may be used to verify contractual compliance.

7. Final Clauses

This agreement is executed in two copies and takes effect upon signature. Unforeseen matters are governed by applicable law.

8. Required Documents at Pickup

You must present a valid driver’s license (minimum 1–3 years’ experience) and a valid ID. Minimum age may vary between 21 and 25 depending on the vehicle class.
